National Lacrosse Federation: Power of Will, The Main Event & Super Series Tourney

Last weekend, June 9th-June 11th, our Team 91 teams dominated the field throughout these three outstanding events put on by the NLF; we could not be prouder or more impressed by the performance our boys put during the entire weekend. From the beautiful weather to impeccable sportsmanship, this was a weekend everyone enjoyed. Our coaching staff put fourth their best efforts and optimal performance throughout these three days and we cannot thank them enough for all they do for us this and every time. The parents and families of our players are the driving force behind all that happens here and their support means the absolute world and more. We were extremely excited to see everyone having a blast this weekend and cannot wait to see what else this summer has in store for our teams.

The Power of Will Showcase allowed uncommitted players to show off their incredible skills to a wide variety of college coaches from all over the country. 60 different college coaches came out to watch the Power of Will Showcase last weekend, 48 of those colleges were D1. Following this showcase, Recruiting Rundown wrote a piece called, “10 Who Impressed From NLF Power of Will & The Main Event” which highlighted 3 of our very own players: Vin Parker ’19 for his growth in confidence, catching ability and back to back scores in the winning game on Sunday.  Xavier Arline ‘20 and Aidan Danenza ‘20 for their offensive play, Arline’s interesting approach to the game and Danenza’s shooting ability. Four of our other player’s received an honorable mention: George Wichelns ’18, Frank Marinello ’18, John Sidorski ’19 and Jack Brennan ’19. A magnificent job done by all involved eager to see where this takes youThe Main Event was the start of the club summer tournament season this year. It brought together the most elite players and teams of 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 from across the country to compete against each other over a two day period. The teams that participated in The Main Event were: Team 91 Lacrosse, LI Express, Laxachusetts, Big 4 HHH, Leading Edge, Baltimore Crabs, CT Eclipse, Mesa Fresh, Madlax, Primetime NY, Texas Sentry Mustangs, Bethesda LC, Sweetlax, LB3, Atlanta Thunder, Annapolis Hawks, 4 Leak NH, Shore 2 Shore NY and the LI Outlaws, NY. Each of these teams played phenomenally and we were honored to share the field with them this weekend. Our 2021 Blaze, 2020 Crush, 2019 Orange and 2018 Extreme did a fantastic job throughout the Main Event! Congratulations to our Team 91 2019 Orange show their dominance winning it all 6-0 and 2020 Crush for taking down their competition winning their title. Thank you to all the other teams who came out this weekend and having a great time with us!
