On Friday, December 19, the staff of Dynamic Sports as well as members of their club lacrosse teams, Team 91 were accompanied by the Farmigdale State Men's Lacrosse Team where they handed out gifts and spent time celebrating with the AHRC students. It has become a yearly tradition that SVP of Events, Sean Chamberlain began while a student at Stony Brook University.
"It really has become one of the hightlights of my year," said Chamberlain, the newly minted lacrosse coach at Farmingdale College. He continued, "This is what community service and being a student athlete is all about."
The AHRC is family governed organization committed to finding ways for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to build full lives as defined by each person and supported by dedicated families, staff and community partners.
